We are exploring using adjectives and adverbs in our writing to make our writing more descriptive. Here we have put our learning into action with our "And then the rain fell ..." poems.

Esther earned the Learner of the Week award at our first assembly this year with this poem.
Our inquiry topic is movement and water. We brainstormed our prior knowledge, then developed questions based on what we were interested in exploring.
We are exploring statistics this term. Here we organised our birthday data into a Stem and Leaf graph. No one in December!

We keep a chart where we can "sign-off" a timestable if we can answer 25 questions about it in 1 minute and 15 seconds. That's 3 seconds per question.
We have been using graphic organisers to sort information we have researched. We chose our best work to be examples and put up our quotes on what each organiser is for.
We warped our faces in Photobooth and now people can try and guess who each photo is of. Clue: Mr Hamilton is the one with the beard!
We discussed the Onerahi School Beacons and wrote down with a partner what we thought they would look like in our classroom.
During a wet lunch in Room 3 you may just be lucky enough to see some card masters designing their next masterpiece.
